In addition, the Pepper's Personal Papers include the "Memoirs" series, containing materials that document his activities as a statesman and as a private citizen. They have been distinguished from other series groups because they are labeled "Memoirs," and may have been separated from the bulk of his papers for autobiographical purposes.
