U.S. Copyright Law and third party privacy laws restrict the availability of certain documents from being made available in the public domain. However, the Claude Pepper Library has created box, folder, and item-level indexes to help direct online patrons.

(POLARIS) Box / Folder Search - A searchable index of box number and folder title of Manuscript Groups 100 to 400 (includes all Official Paper groups for the Florid House of Rerepesentitives, U.S. Senate, an U.S. House of Representatives. Also includes Claude Pepper's Personal Correspondence Group). Item level searching is available, but limited to the 100 group and the 201 series. Item level searching is available for the photographs, audiovisual, and memorabilia groups. Item level search of speeches is also available.

Manuscript Item Level Search - An item-level searchable index of document titles within Manuscript Group 100 (Official Papers - Florida House of Representatives) and selected series within the Manuscript 200 Group (Official Papers - U.S. Senate).
